The pages included in this portion of the Academic Affairs website contain guidelines, information, and forms specific to the needs of Program Chairs.

Program Chairs are selected by the Dean of the College in consultation with the program faculty and the Associate Dean and with final approval of the Provost. Each Program Chair oversees the daily operations of his or her academic program. In consultation with their faculty, the Program Chairs work with and report regularly to their Associate Deans. The Program Chair facilitates meetings of his or her program faculty during the academic year, in order to establish and review annual goals, strategies, and metrics; to assess the curriculum; and to ensure the smooth administration of the program.
