Faculty Promotion and Review

All faculty shall undergo periodic evaluations by their colleagues. Evaluations create clear documentation for faculty members being promoted within, or between ranks and classifications. The categories of evaluation are: teaching effectiveness, professional engagement, and college and community service. Only Ranked faculty are required to show evidence of College and community service.

Ranked and Adjunct faculty will be notified of eligibility for evaluation by mail. Lecturers/Senior Lecturers will be notified by their Chair or Associate Dean. Once the evaluation process has been initiated, the faculty member should confer with their Chair or Associate Dean for guidance on the process and its procedures.
